I'm trying to build my first gaming pc, initially I hoped it would cost around 900 euro or so. I did a lot of research in my spare time and whenever I decided on all the components it came out at 1,300 euro or 1,100 euro.
Here are my specs at the moment, I keep changing them to see if I can get cheaper, but its difficult for me:

GPU: intel core i5 4690
MOTHERBOARD: asus z97- pro gamer
RAM: 8GB Kingston
GRAPHICS CARD: 2GB nividia Geforce GTX 750 ( I can't get the GTX geforce 760 )
Hard drive: 1TB SATA 32mb cache
SSD: Plextor 128gb
POWER SUPPLY: CORSAIR 550W vs series
Wireless/Wired Networking: WIRELESS 802.11N 150mbps
Operating System: windows 8
Case: NZXT PHANTOM 240

I have a mouse and keyboard but I need a monitor and I'm still undecided about which one I should pick, everything I said above me excluding a monitor is around 1,200 euro, is there anything there that I can drop or something? I want to get near my 900 euro budget.
Note: (Because of my location some items might not be able to be shipped to me)

I agree with Vic on this.Upgrade that PSU and remember that for gaming, put all of your money into your GPU.The 750 Ti really isnt that great and for gaming you dont need that CPU.Get an i5-4460 and try to get an r9 280 or 280x and a 280 with an i5-4460 will tear that 750 ti apart.I also dont think that you need that Mobo,I cant recommend any but I know you could find much cheaper with everything you need.

I think you're looking at "looks" too? Seeing that motherboard for instance.
You could look at a B85 fatal1ty too or a H97 fatal1ty motherboard,maybe cheaper?

I would like to see a better psu in there.look at this list for reference at ire 1+2.

You probably could save money on the cpu,a 4460 or 4590 would be as good choices.

Try to look for another gpu,the difference btween the 760 and 750 isn't just a number, but a ballpark in performance.Look at amd too,the r9 280,285 or the 270X for instance. The gtx 960 is there also to look for.

For wifi get a decent adapter,i got this one and it does imo very well, the only annoyance can be the green led when in sight.Other option when there's no option for a direct cable to your room, and if the power network in the house is good,is powerline adapters like these.
