i have windows 8.1 pc i try this all examples which u all suggest now but still i have facing trouble with my PD connection pls help me that is most important it shows that ur usb devise not recognized...,,,,the last usb device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it,,, pls hlp i try all this trick,,,,,,,, if u have any other solution pls tell me

Do you mean an external USB disk drive ???

This is a typical error message when you have unplugger the device without first 'unmounting it from windows'.
[You should always un mount the device first before unplugging it]
