As the question says.
Also, my 980s in SLI are getting quite hot. 77 degrees (top card) at 100% fan speed. I don't think anything is wrong with the cards, because it is probably the horrible cable management added to the high room temperature.
My case is CM 690 III and CPU is 4790k, on an ASUS VII Ranger. The current CPU cooler is the Hyper TX-3 EVO.
So,
1. Which cooler?
2. Will the reduced CPU temperature/Liquid cooling also lower my GPU temps?
3. Will adding a bottom intake and replacing the front 200mm intake with 2 120mm Sickleflows help GPU temperatures?
And the guy who will mount the cooler will take of the cable management. :)

Solution
As someone who just made the jump to liquid cooling, it is worth it. The lower cpu temps will not affect the gpu temps. The more air you can have running through that case the better, temp wise. You always want to look for the option that gives you the maximum surface area for moving air. For example, 2x120mm fans = 240mm and can move more air, albeit more noisy in most cases, than a 200mm. Also, you should work on getting your room cooler, even if it is by a few degrees, your computer will thank you will better performance.
