Samsung HM500JI Sata 2.5" Hard Disk Not recognized

Samsung HM500JI Sata 2.5" Hard Disk Not recognized.

It is not shown in BIOS and Disk Management.
When I connect the disk with external USB, the motor on the hard firstly spins and then stops spinning. No sound detected.

Any chances to get the data from drive?

Hi there metalkapil,

Unfortunately, after the drive is not recognized by both BIOS and Disk Management, I would say that you may need to contact a data recovery company if the data stored on the drive is really important. Most of the HDD manufacturers offer data recovery services or have some sort of trusted data recovery partners.
I guess it will not hurt to try attaching the drive with a different SATA cable.
