Zotac GTX 970 AMP Extreme core edition vs Asus Strix Gtx 970

Im having problems selecting a gpu, so far from what i've gathered the Zotac extreme core has a 1228 MHz (base) 1380 MHz (boost) and the asus on the other hand got GPU (Boost): 1253 MHZ (Base): 1114 MHz. so does the Zotac make it superior because im having doubts of the card because its hard to find reviews/issues on several other websites. so far, both the cards cost the same from where i live

The Asus card is probably better. When it comes to graphics cards, base clock doesn't really matter. You can overclock the card yourself, so the better cooler is the one you should go for. The Strix is a well known cooler, it's very good and very quiet.
