Hello everyone, I'm very new to PC gaming. I've tried googling a lot of the stuff, but haven't found any really good information. I currently have an AMD FX-4300 Quad-core Processor 3.80hz 8 GB ram.

I have a NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 which i feel is way out of date. I mostly play "League of Legends." I play on medium graphic settings and only get about 30 FPS. I'm curious if anyone can tell me if i'm bottle necking on my processor side, or my Graphics side. Also, if it is the graphics card, what are some cards you'd recommend that would work with my processor?

thank you so much for you help ahead of time!

i have the fx 4130 @3.8 GHz and get decent performance with the gtx 760 but i bottleneck alot in cpu instensive games, if you only play LOL you will be good with you setup u wont have to worry about bottle necking in a non cpu intesive game, But lest be honest PC gaming is awesome when i first got a gaming pc i didnt think i would get into it, i got it only to play sc2 but now i mod a bunch of games and stuff, so i think you should look into a all around upgrade if possible. Mark my words you will become addicted, I'd go for Nvidia gtx 750 ti and upgrade your cpu to a fx 6300, You will see a huge performance increase and better increase for 200$ than spending more on a 270x or 280x (Btw they are amazing Gpu's but with your CPU they wouldn't work amazing i DONT hate AMD)

You will get far better performance with the 270x then with a 750ti for the same price, nvidia is really not doing to well in the price to performance category http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1043?vs=1130 .

trust me when i say, i never planned on being addicted. LoL is one of my favorite games atm. I often lose track of time lol. Just need a lot higher fps. i'm planning on switching from console to PC entirely within the next few months. planning on replacing the graphics card, then working towards a new processor.

make sure your other specs are good enough(PSU,CPU, GPU), bottle necking is your worst enemy with a gt 630 2gb and fx 4130 i was getting around 150 fps no problem in LOL max settings
