okay so i have core 2 duo e6550 (i think) ,however i want to overclock it to atleast 2.70 or even 3.0 its running 2.33GHz default, i dont have stock air cooler, i have one big metal cube with heatsink on the right side when looking by opened side on case. So i want to know how far can i get and is there any risk, i didnt overclock bcs i dont need to, i have one high-end gaming pc but i want to practice and get into overclocking this c2d, its my second pc i dont use it like primary gaming pc but hey haha. I have Hp motherboard because its hp compaq desktop . HELP PLEASE!!!
