extended shadows distance in GTA 5 is greyed out and disabled, please help!

Hello! I have a problem with the PC version of GTA 5. I want to turn up extended shadows distance but it's greyed out and disabled for me. How do I fix this problem? Here are my specs:

Operating System: Windows 8.1 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 3GB (192-bit)
1 TB HDD
350 W PSU
DirectX Version: DirectX 11

Yes there is.

Go to; Settings, Graphics, Shadows (Very high)
Then; Settings, Graphics, Soft Shadows (Nvidia PCSS)

Now see if it works

Very odd, I just wen't in game and tested it, I can move the slider, it appears grey until you move it, silly question I know but have you tried that?

If it still does not work after that, crank the entire game up to ultra and try. (MSAA can be on 2X)

If the answer is still no, I am kinda stumped, maybe you need a 4gb card to use it, like me.
