PC won't boot after Bios update - MSI Motherboard

Hello,

Today, I needed to enable VT-x (Hardware virtualization) on my PC, to get a virtual machine to work. It seemed to be activated (I used a piece of software called CPU-z to find out, but could not find this setting in the Bios), but Virtual Box would still not recognize it.

Here is my setup:

  • Motherboard : MSI P67A-GD55
    Processor : Intel Core i5 2500K
    RAM : G.Skill Extreme3 2 x 2 GB PC10600 Ripjaws CAS 9
Graphics card : GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1 GB
    Power supply : Corsair CX V2 - 600W
Some websites suggested to update the Bios. I downloaded the latest Bios version for my motherboard from the MSI website, put it on a bootable thumbdrive (I used Rufus to do that), restarted my computer, and upgraded "successfully" (It said everything went ok, and told me to press a key to restart).

But after doing so, and whenever I turn on my computer, I only get to the motherboard's "Military Class" screen for a second, and then it reboots (infinite loop). I do not have access to the Bios or anything, it stops right before that.

To try and solve that, I disconnected all devices from the PC, unplugged it, tried multiple methods for a Clear CMOS (with the dedicated motherboard button, and by removing the battery, did it for 3 minutes). But I did not have any success.

The computer tells me that the settings were reset, and asks me if I want to enter setup (F1) or continue (F2). Pressing any of those keys just results in the computer rebooting and looping again.

I'm kind of lost at this point. I know some basic stuff about computers, but not to this extend. I don't believe any component could have just "fried" with a Bios flash, so I'm thinking it's software related, but I might be wrong. I tried every "Clear CMOS" solutions I could find on the web, and the other solutions mentioning entering the Bios to change a setting don't apply to me as I can't even access it.

Any clue on this? Thanks in advance, I'm pretty desperate right now, as the virtual machine was for work, and I fried my own computer for that... PS: I'm french, so bear with my english ;)
