What cpu should I get with my gtx 970?

Ok Im a gamer and have a AMD fx 8320 and was wondering if it was worth splashing out on a new cpu and motherboard for an Intel combo. Or should I just get a half decent and motherboard and use my 8320, I was planning on getting an i5 4690k with a mximus vii ranger. Not too sure on this one as I could save £190 if don't have to upgrade, thanks :)

Well you will get a considerable amount of increase in performance if you do switch. What you can do is sell your current CPU and buy the i5 with an ASUS Z97-A board to save some money and get an aftermarket cooler to allow some overclocking to be done.

I was considering selling it on, it'll make it seem cheaper. Is there buyers or just somewhere like eBay somewhere you would recommend. And I was looking at that board too with a enermax liqtech 240 or a h100i, so the sale of the cou would get me the cooler :)
