Hi all, I have a problem. I tried overclocked processor AMD A10 7850K and something happens. My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-D3H. When I try to change the settings automatically using the "AMD Overdrive" program does not work well. I tried to upload it to 4.3 GHz with automatic option and the performance is lower, games that run at 60 fps changed to 15/20 fps or less. After it freezes and I have to reboot my pc. When I restart the pc (freezing or not) the clock returns to default settings ...

Well, then try to do it from the BIOS and also have problems. I can´t change the parameters. Many parameters in AUTO and I can´t change.

I uploaded 3 photos , you can see the blocked options, are marked in red:

Any help would be appreciated, if need more data, ask! thank you.

Use your Page-Up/Down keys to adjust BIOS settings.

Using AOD is handy, but BIOS over-clocking is preferred. Be certain to disable Turbo or any core boost/throttling features. Example: 4.3GHz will Turbo to 4.6GHz if it is not disabled.

I suspect that core-throttling occurred in this instance to prevent damage to your system --- individual cores down-clocked to 1.4GHz. This likely is the reason for your frame drops.

With voltage settings on *Auto* (and individual cores clocking as high as 4.6GHz), the power delivery simply simply goes too high and the system throttles itself.

If you use AOD, in the preferences you may hook the settings to the BIOS for boot.

if youre using the cpu clock control to overclock then theres the problem, thats the base clock and you shouldnt really mess with it.

thats an apu and tbh i reckon the reason its worse when you try oc it than when its not is that it simply cannot go as high as youre trying to push it leading it to fail.

Hi i have an old 400w psu (no brand xd) and i am thinking if it could power a10 7850k and 8gb 2400mhz...
I am unsure because it is just until i wait to have my sfx psu and change to my upcoming mini itx case
Also, can i use a sfx psu on my atx case ? Even if i tape it in place xD ?
Thx for all the support
