Will this build play new games with decent fps and will work w/o problems?

MOBO: ASRock H81M VG4
GPU:Zotac GTX 970
RAM:G.Skill RipJaws X (dual) 2x4gb
CASING: pending maybe from cooler master
HDD: WDC Caviar Green1tb
PSU: Corsair CX500M

its a budget build I just want to know will it be worth it by playing latest games

To be fair I think he has made a good choice on getting an okay CPU with a great CPU. It's better than most people think.

Don't change to FX-6300 mate. Keep the i3-4150.

The S12II 520w like you said would be very good.

consider it done for the HDD but what if I replace the PSU with the Seasonic S12II 520w ;)

if im going for AMD, id choose the FX 6300 with the gtx 970 zotac will it bottleneck?

Another option could be to drop down to a GTX 960, and then get something like an i5 4460.

Yes, the FPS will be lower than on a GTX 970 (In most cases the difference will be about 5-10 FPS at 1080p, you would still have over 60FPS in most titles), but you get the strong per core performance of Haswell, while also having more physical cores than the i3.

Dropping down to a 960 would also leave you some extra cash, which could be used to grab an SSD or better motherboard.
