I have a Dell Dimension E520. It has an Intel Core 2 Dup (3.0 GHZ) and 2 GB of RAM. I was told that Windows 7 would run better on there than Windows Vista would. So, I installed Windows 7. When I was done, all of the drivers were already installed. But, I noticed that most of them were not working properly. Especially the video driver. So, I went to Dell's website and started downloading drivers. When it said "Choose Operating System" there was no option for Windows 7. So I just chose Windows Vista 32 Bit. I downloaded the video driver, but when I tried to install it, it said "This System's Operating System Is Not Supported" and the driver would not install. Where can I get drivers for operating systems that Dell doesn't support? Is there some kind of work around to get Vista drivers working on Windows 7?
