I do not care about price and I know that R9 has latest technology, But I wanted to know, between the two which is better Crossfired?Also I do not care about PSU I tried to find someone using 2 x HD 6990 in today's games but I could not find anything. So what is more rewa I like to play on Ultra.

280's are alot better. More Vram, less heat and believe it or not they will use less power. 2X 6990 in quadfire would probably not even work, even regular crossfire have issues when it comes to some game profiles.

the 6990 is already 2 6970's in crossfire on the same board. the 280x is a rebranded 7970
2 6990 would mean quad crossfire where scaling is horrible that's why you don't find many benchmarks. you would need somewhere around 1000W of power for a system with 2 6990s.
