I am looking to build a new computer for our F&I manager at a Toyota dealership that will be used to run two monitors for contracting purposes. Currently using an all-in-one that was purchased awhile ago and it just does not cut it (intel e5300/4gbs of ram)! The computer would have 8-10 browser tabs open, Excel, Acrobat Reader, APD, and our web based Menu system. I was thinking of either going with a cheaper Intel i5 quad or an AMD FX 8-core with 8gb of ram. If I go with an Intel, I could get away without buying a graphics card is what I am thinking since they have on board graphics and outputs on most motherboards.
Your opinions would be greatly appreciated and if I can come under the total budget ($850) that would be amazing!
Computer Budget: $450-550 (already have a copy of Windows 7)
Monitor Budget: $300 total (22"-23" preferred)
My thoughts:
CPU: i5 4460 or FX-8320
Mobo: H97 or.... Prefer small form factor (Mini ITX or Micro ATX)
Memory: 8GBs ($50-$60)
Storage: Kingston SSDNow V300 120gb SSD ($53)
Video Card: Only if required
Optical drive: Cheap $15 drive
Case: open to options, small and bland!
Monitor: 2x Acer H236HLBID 23" ($137.99@Bestbuy) Must be VESA compatible
PSU: 430w-500w? I am unsure without a video card!
OS: Already have Windows 7
