I have an ASUS ROG G56JK-EB72 Gaming Laptop. How do I replace the optical drive with SSD? I don't use optical much so I want to upgrade to an SSD for operating system, and still keep the HDD for games. What do I need to buy besides the SDD? Any information on how to do it. Thank you!

Solution
Nothing, just a 2.5" SDD just as thin as your current ODD, these are either 9 or 12mm thick. I would plug it in first just to see if it recognize it, then your *may* have to do a migration (clone copy) so you can move the SSD to the HD slot, which is the first natural boot device.
