hi i am from india and i am thinking to buy gtx 750 1gb graphic card, my cpu specification is intel core 2 quad 2.5 ghz processor , 2 gb ram and g-31 motherboard is my cpu will be compatible for the graphic card?

What is your PC used for, and if gaming, what games and what resolution is your monitor?

Yes, the motherboard has a PCI-E x16 slot, which is all that matters. That said, the rest of the components are pretty old, especially only 2GB of RAM, which will hold back the 750 in the latest games.

Either way, if you can find one for the same price, or a little more, go with a 2GB 750. It will last you a little longer.

i have an idea what if i sold my g-31 motherboard 2gb ram and buy g-41 with 4 gb of ram will then can i be able to play games smoothly? i will go for 2gb of nvidia gtx 750 graphic also.

I don't think that jump would be worth it. Why don't you post your budget, where you can buy from, along with your goals for this system in a new thread, and people will give you recommendations.

Also good to know your monitor's resolution.

well my monitors resolution is 1600*900, 16:9, as my monitor is of lcd 20 inch my budget is 10000 and my general goal was as i have core 2 quad most of the latest games would run for example far cry 3 just by adding that graphic card but as we know that the games like for example far cry 4 ,dying light needs i5 or i7 processors. so i was thinking to play that game afterward because those processors are expensive. hence for time being just by adding graphic card i would be able to play far cry 3,gta 4,5,etc

hey yesterday i just opened my cpu case and found out that my smps output is 300 watts. model fsp300-60yha(1) is that smps enough for that graphic card? pls help over here and do i will need a extra cabinet cooler to keep the graphic and cpu cool although there is 3 fans present inside cabinet one is for smps one is attach for processor and one cabinet cooler
