Why does my gtx 770 perform worse than my gtx 670?

I have a serious problem..I have a gigabyte gtx 670 which I get 45-55 fps in far cry 4 maxed.The gtx 770 is supposed to perform better right?i get drops like to 40 and not as stable as my gtx 670.Aswell there is some shadow glitching with the gtx 770 of the trees

I have the evga 770 sc with acx.First thing my temps always go to 79 degrees and when it stays there sometimes my games crash suddenly..

79°C is still well below its thermal limit and should be ok. I have 2 Gigabyte Windforce 770s but they rarely hit 70°C.

I found the solution man.My gpu's thermal paste was not effective anymore so I replaced it and now my temps stay at 60 degrees under full load:)im so happy
