i have 4670k and i have 4.4 stable at 1.35v but max temps - core1 90 - core2 92 - core3 90 core4 - 80. did i just get unlucky ?

i think tomorrow i will get new thermal paste and apply a new layer and re mount the cpu cooler

Just to make sure (going back to basics here so don't hate if you are beyond this)

Once you remove your cooler to add a new layer, I want you to properly clean your cpu off and the bottom of your cooler, they should be as clean as possible and no traces of the previous applications should remain.

When applying a new layer of paste, a small amount goes a long way, I quite often see build that have had far too much applied.

Pretty simple stuff.

i dont remember but for 4.4 it need that 1.35v but i will drop it down to 4.3 at 1.26

Good idea, that much voltage for an extra 0.1Ghz isn't worth it.

thats is while i stress test with aida4 while its under 100% load
 

Ah okay, what temps do you get when gaming? That's usually more important as games won't push your CPU as hard as a stress tester.

ran around dayz for a bit and cpu load hit 60 but temps stay under 65
 

That's okay if you mostly game, keep an eye on the temps during long gaming sessions though.
