Okay, so I've been upgrading my pc, I currently have: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231474

(2x2gb of 1833 mhz ram)

I was wondering if I would be able to add: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231455

(2x4gb of 1833 mhz ram with the same timings)

My motherboard has the A1 B1 A2 B2 setup and supports up to 16 gb's of ram, I believe. This would add up to 12, it's the same brand, same frequencies/timings and all that jazz. Only difference is the color of the stick and how much memory each set would come with. My question is, would i be able to run these 4 sticks of ram, or would I not be able to?

A little more info about my system and what I use it for, I have the amd A-10 6700 with radeon 8670d integrated graphics APU. And I plan on getting an entry level gpu such as an nvida GTX 750 ti to replace the 8670d, even though those integrated graphics are rather impressive. I use the pc for mid level gaming, games like the newly released killing floor 2, cs: go, and some mmorpgs such as tera and the secret world. Any tips on what I can do to better my pc are welcome!

If they don't come out of the same package, yes. The sticks in a package have been tested to play nice and are thus guaranteed to play. If it was as easy to mix packages as many would have you believe the manufacturers wouldn't mess with testing, they would simply sell only single sticks and make more profit.

Any time you mix DRAM (even sets of the same exact model) it can be and often is problematic, the forums are full of threads of people mixing DRAM and you guessed it, problems galore ;) Best to get a single package of the full amount you want/need

But would it be necessarily mixing if i just added 2 more of the same 2x2gb ram as i already have? thus having 8 total gb filling 4 slots of ram that are exact copies of eachother
