Is there any "Good Quality" free game recording software similar in quality as FRAPS?

So far i have tried MSI Afterburner, Bandicam, and Open Broadcaster and they are by far the worst quality of any recording software i have used, MSI being the worst. My PC can handle it its just that when i use anything instead of FRAPS it looks like pure garbage as if its all dark and at 480p Resolution even though its set to 1080p. Open Broadcaster reords only 1FPS for me no matter what i do in the settings and the quality itself is bad. I really do not want to pay $37 for the full version of FRAPS but i fear i may need to because i can not find anything even 5% close to the crystal clear quality that FRAPS has but only 30 Seconds of it. Is there any other programs that are even worth existing besides FRAPS?

AMD gaming evolved app. one button recording, works quite well in the very limited uses I have tried it for.
Yes it is free, I would think the recording software would work with any gpu, but not sure, you would have to check.

To be honest, the most dedicated recording people use either recording cards or paid software. If you're ever going to be earning money then you're going to have to invest... either in a recording card or a premium product.

But you should know, some recorders are dependant on which codec encoders you have installed and how they are configured!

NVidia Shadowplay:
Looks IDENTICAL at a quick glance to original quality. Very small color difference if you compare carefully. I've even recorded at 2560x1440. I believe you need a GTX650Ti or better.

My frame rate never dropped more than 5%. If using VSYNC it was generally locked to 60FPS though I often set recording to 30FPS if uploading to Youtube.

OB:
Not sure what you're doing because this works fine for most. In fact, it can use the same NVENC hardware encoder if you have a compatible video card so I'm guessing quality is nearly identical.

OB and other programs can also use Quicksync if you have a suitable Intel CPU and that should be okay as well (best option for AMD users).

Software vs Hardware:
Hardware generally means a dedicated VIDEO ENCODER that can sample the video created and encode in real time. Software means the CPU is doing the crunching to encode the video which often creates a CPU bottleneck which lowers the frame rate.

Other:
Getting only 1FPS and dark images?
Really not sure what you're doing wrong as I've seen laptop users with basic graphics get something far better.

My guess is you're using software designed to work with a GPU hardware encoder without having one of the supported encoders. For example, I don't know if OB supports software mode on the CPU. I'm surprised you don't get a warning though if you don't have the proper hardware.

Lol, um i do earn money? I just did not want to pay like $40 for a recording software i would only use like maybe an hour tops once a month. I just wanted to record great quality game play to show and compare with friends.
