Chrome on Android deleted all my Chrome browsing history on my PC.

Installed a app on Android which asked to clear my Chrome browsing history which I did. Fired up my PC and Chrome and noticed the most visited pages thumbnails are missing and the history, then it clicked that I had cleared the history in my phone. I am new to using Chrome on Android and did not think that it would affect Chrome on my PC.

I would actually like the browsing history in Chrome on my PC back, is that possible? I mean how can clearing the Chrome browsing history on my Android physically delete the Chrome browsing history on my PC?

Will look into alternative browser for Android as I'm not sure I like the interaction.

It can be because your Google account that you logged into Chrome on Android is also synced to the Chrome on PC. So, what you're doing on mobile is also visible on PC.

1. Yes... or...
2. Log in another account that you (maybe) have. And copy the browsing history from chrome from that account you are using right now into the (new) one.
