How can I crossfire a AMD A8 6600k with a R7 260x?

Im a big noob when it comes down to pc's and I need some help.
I have an AMD a8 6600k w/ 8570d radeon graphics and I wanted to buy a graphics card and found the the R7 260x cus its good for its price. Now when I would get it I have no clue how to install it. Also is there anything else that i need to know? Does anyone has like a installing guide?

You can't, and it's not really crossfire that those APU chips use, it's dual graphics which act different and is not as good.

Just install the 260X and use it as the main card, the A8 will just be a CPU for the system then.


You need to make sure the card will fit in the case and that the power supply is good enough to run the card. I think the 260X needs about a 400 watt PSU. If you have a less powerful one, the NVidia 750 Ti card uses less power and is nearly as fast but costs more, but it will run on about a 300 watt PSU.

They trade blows but 750 Ti is actually faster than the 260x in most games.

Open the computer and look at the power supply, the rating will be on it, same thing for the space. There is a small form factor of the 750 and the 750 Ti which will fit in just about any case out there short of a very small form system.

Okay that helps me alot and do you know any good kinda cheap PSU's with 6 pins like between 40-55 euro's?
