my freezer xtreme rev 2 arrived and i installed it properly.. before install i cleaned the old thermal paste on the cpu.. and now i started the computer my temps are 30-32 idle.. and when i started the test OCCT: 3 sec passed the temps hit the 80-85 degrees.. my question what the fu*** happening ?

sometimes when i open folders the temps from idle 30-32 hit 40-43

the cooler had pre-applied thermal paste.. it is sucks?

with the old AMD stock cooler i had temps 34-36 idle oc'd to 3.6ghz.. and load temps was 57-58 on 3.6ghz with stock cooler while playing GTA V. my CPU is Amd phenom ii x4 965 3.4ghz BE

You probably didn't install the thermal paste right. It should be a creamy type of paste. If it's not, it's most likely bad and you should get aftermarket thermal paste.

it had pre-aplied thermal paste on the cooler i think it's the problem... maybe it is an old paste.. i getting now 27-29 idle core temp which is very good.. but when i start application or stress test the temps goes up within 3-4 sec to 80-85-90 degrees.. it's weird because when i open an image on the facebook core temps goes up to 54-56 degrees and when i watch video on the youtube or launch movie in my computer the core temps are 38-40 degrees..

Buy some other thermal paste. If you can, try to peel or somehow take off the preapplied thermal paste (gently) off the cpu and cooler. Then add the aftermarket one.

I have a cheap one right here which works well. Apply it like an x so the paste is a little less than a centimeter away of each corner of the Cpu. Then put the cooler back on. I get 18C idle temps when using it along with a 35 dollar cooler similar to the 212 evo, overclocked.

Sorry or the late response

Okey... im back the problem was the bracket... my friend made a new bracket for the cooler. the cooler doesnt fit on the cpu properly... THANKS TO HIM!: now it is working fu**** perfect with artict MX-2 paste.. i oc'd my cpu to 3.9ghz with the stock Voltages 1,4000V and im getting 47-48-49 degrees core temp... and the cpu temp is 40 degrees on prime95 (full load) i running it for an 5 hours now with no errors.. i think this cooler does similar job as hyper evo 212+ i think im very lucky with that chip.
