I am looking to tidy up my pc power cables under my desk which mostly run off/through a Belkin surge master 8-way. I have bought a d-line large cable tidy box but my Belkin would not fit when other plugs are attached as it was too wide.
Can anybody suggest another cable box product that would fit a surge master (with plugs attached)?
Thanks in advance

while it might not cover your surge protector, you can make some good use of panduit for cable organization. they also make cheaper non-industrial cable tray which looks similar to it (panduit is the industrial stuff i used since i had some)

example of panduit i used http://s20.postimg.org/z0jfmmip9/IMG_1180_2.jpg

not so sure a wood box would be a good idea covering the box if there are transformers on it. if there arent any transformers on it you could cover it with practically anything. for instance a plastic container or pan could be attached to the desk with clips like http://www.advance-equipment.com/web-photos/large/12P_01.jpg and hold down clips if it had a rolled or flanged edge http://www.cfcdist.com/shopping/images/k5116.jpg...

if you had transformers under it and wanted a box, i'd make sure you had plenty of ventilation holes drilled in it.
