I have a Samsung 850 Evo 128gb ssd that I use for my Windows 8.1 pro OS and all my programs and drivers. I use programs like iTunes, MakeMKV, Handbrake, Wondershare video converter ultimate, ComicRack, and Comic Tagger. I have My itunes and ComicRack libraries set to a separate hdd also my MakeMKV destination set to the same hdd. So I dont think that my libraries are the cause of loss of space on my ssd because I have 100gb in iTunes music alone and another 50 in comics and tons more in videos created with MakeMKV. I set up trim, disable hibernation, disabled recycling bin (alittle late in doing so) and took off indexing and cleared disk space temps and stuff. but Im missing like 30gbs or more of space that seems to disappear alittle more everytime I use MakeMKV to rip my dvds. I checked the ssd drive and cant find huge temp files or where the space is being used up. What am I doing wrong? How am I slowly running out of space? Should I not even have these programs on my ssd to begin with? I use them alot and thought theyd benefit from the ssd speed and I thought having the libraries sent to my hdd it would be ok. Help?
