Hello people, I seem to have an issue my little brain cannot solve. So I have a:

Asus Motherboard P8Z77-V LK
i5 37k
16 gb of RAM
Graphics Card :Asus GTX 760
Logitech G930 Headset

So my computer runs fine after reboot, but the computer starts acting up after several hours of use, or sometimes not even being used. The audio stops responding with the application name : Shell32 no sound, crashes my origin, crashes my Teamspeak. crashes a couple of programs using audio.

The problem persist until the computer is rebooted. Once the computer is rebooted, everything seems to be fine. Until a couple of more hours passes by (or days), and then BOOM everything is back to the issues related to the audio. Everything shuts down, crashing left and right.

Now, I am not completely computer illiterate, so here is the list of things i have already done

-Tried another USB plug in the computer.
-Updated Audio drivers from the Asus website
-Updated BIOS to the latest drivers
-Formatted and reinstalled Windows 7 x64
-Updated Audio drivers (again)
-Contacted Asus Support (no help there)

Well I am out of solutions but to run a hammer into the center of the board; or even a .45 cal gun and just shoot the board and buy MSI next time, but before I do this I would like to have exhausted all options.

Anybody has a suggestion about this. Perhaps a solution that I may have forgotten.

What is the brand and model number of your power supply? What kind of CPU cooler are you using and is the CPU cooler running?

What is the case model, how many fans do you have, are they all running? What direction is each fan blowing? Have you checked your CPU temps to see if thermal issues are to blame? Download and run Core Temp and try to notice what the core temps are doing when the problems act up.

Might be having a USB driver issue, since this is related to the USB headset, if I am reading this correctly. Try to uninstall, then reinstall the USB drivers, using device manager. USB headsets have their own sound chip in them, iirc. So either the headset is faulty, or the USB drivers are messing up. Might want to see if logitech has a driver, of their own, for that headset.

IF it was a driver issue, why would it take several hours of use for the problem to rear it's head? Just wondering as generally, to my experience at least, issues with drivers don't usually take "time" to develop. They either hard fail as soon as windows loads, as soon as the device is called or as soon as something that conflicts with the driver is called. If there are time delay driver issues I honestly would like to know about it as I haven't added that one to my inventory of possible pains IMA yet.
