gainward gtx960 phantom and SSD which proc + mobo + with it?

I have bought gainward gtx960 phantom since my old card ati 5770 stopped working. But the problem is my motherboard (GA-MA790XT-UD4P) and processor(amd phenom x4 955 black edition) are old and thus bottlenecking graphic card (i guess). I have decided to buy new Processor which one would you suggest (im looking for something above avrage for about $200 - $250) and could you recommend a good motherboard that would go with SSD 250.0 GB SAMSUNG 850 EVO Basic and with this new Processor. Thank you.

Very good pick, Thank you. You gave me a general idea for what i should look and really like mobo. Just one more question Would i need a new PSU with this i have 500W and is working good and also what would be an equivalent AMD proc for this INTEL one?

Yeah, you're gonna want a beefy power supply. I'd do a 750W or more.

If you wanna explore AMD options, this CPU is pretty nice: AMD FX-9590 Vishera 4.7GHz http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=19-113-351.
Couple of drawbacks though: AMD processors use a lot of juice, and run a bit hotter, plus they aren't as good at multicore processing as Intel ones.
