i am running 2 gig ddr3 ram and i have a new 4 gig ddr3 ram but when i put the 4 gig with my 2 gig (biggest in the first slot) my pc wont start it starts up and shows that its reading the usb ports hdd ram and so on but it reads about 3048mg ram and reboots only way it stops is when i turn it off or it will just reboot none stop if i have the 4 gig alone it still does it. if i have the 2 gig it works fine -.- if i take the 4 gig and use it on another pc it works no problem.
im not to clued up on pc`s so please can someone help me i want to run the 2 and 4 gig same time can i? and how can i get my pc to run this 4 gig ddr3 stick without it rebooting at splash screen i cant even get into the bios (only with my 2gig ram i can) but even then i dont know what im doing in the bios please can someone help me cause when i play games and do stuff on my pc 2 gig just isn`t enough i can feel it like jerking and so on alt+ctrl+del task manager shows me that im using 1.73gig and it starts going abit crazy please help me someone.
