Is a corsair cx500 enough to power my rig ?

Hi guyz
I have decided to upgrade my rig and i have already got some of the components.Well i am really tight on my budget and i need to know whether a cx500 will be enough.

Here is my rig's specification(Which i have already got)

1) gpu-Zotac gtx 970
2) cpu-Core i7 4770(non-k)
3)mobo-gigabyte B85M-D3H
4) ram-corsair vengeance 8gb
5)500gb wd hard disk.

No, you'll need a good quality 550W power supply to run that computer. The Corsair CX line is far from high quality, it uses poor capacitors that are known to explode (http://youtu.be/kj8-wNmYJvM) and therefore is in the third tier of the PSU tier list (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html).

I recommend getting an XFX 550W, or a Seasonic 620W. These are both super high quality power supplies and won't break the bank either.
