Hello everyone!

I need some help picking my new graphics card.
I want a cheap, but good graphics card that can run most of the new games on low/medium and maybe even high resolution. The games I am talking about are: Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Grand Theft Auto V, Battlefield 4 and Minecraft. I have 2 websites you can check out, but they are in a different currency. I can spend 900kn on either of these websites. So if you could find any graphics cards under or with about the same price, that would be great, because I am not really good with that stuff. I was thinking of getting a R7 250x boost, or maybe something else... I am not too good with this stuff and I would appreciate ANY help! THe links to these websites are: http://www.instar-informatika.hr/graficke-ati-amd/ and: http://www.links.hr/?option=katList&id_kategorija=0518&naziv=graficke-kartice Thank you very much and have a great day! Edit: I would also like to be able to connect 2 monitors, and an extra question: which is better? 4gb GDDR3 or 2 GB GDDR5?? Thanks

Nevermind, just saw it... What if I stretch my budget to 1000kn??? Maybe then there will be something I could buy? PS: I would play games only on 1 monitor.

Alright thanks! (hvala na hrvatskom odgovoru) I think I will get that one! And also, do you think it will be compatible with my MOBO? I have an A68HM-E33, thanks!

It will, sure. All you need is a PCI-E slot on your motherboard, and you have it (like nearly all motherboards). What is your PSU? This card uses approximately 110W of power under full load and needs one 6-pin PCI-E power connector from your power supply.

Hey! Sorry that I didn't answer before, but I have this PSU: http://www.amazon.com/Bestec-ATX0300D5WB-Rev-Power-Supply/dp/B0094342T4 , also I checked my graphics card, and it is using a 6 pin connector, so hopefully it will work, and on the connector it said YY5700H :) DO you think it will work? EDIT: I saw this site: http://www.atxpowersupplies.com/460-watt-power-supply-FSP460-60GLC.php and this is what is sais: This power supply has two 12V rails for a total of 34 amps of current. This special design is perfect for high-end demanding video cards like Nvidia and ATI. The PCI express plug on this power supply produces a whopping 192 watts all by itself! If I understood it correctly everything should go fine... What do you think?

Can you please read the +12V rating on the PSU label?

You should see something like "+12v 18A, +5v 22A, +3.3v 17A, -12v 0.8A" or similar. But +12V is the most important.

If this number is less than 19A, you are out of luck and need to upgrade your PSU as well.

Either that, or get a Nvidia GTX750ti, which uses half the power and would work even with your current PSU. But it is more expensive than 260X, despite of having similar performance.

EDIT: The FSP power supply you subsequently posted would run 260X just fine.

It should, work, but very borderline. For the sake of future upgrades, I would still advise you to get a decent PSU (like XFX 550W or at the very least 450W, Seasonic 520W+, Antec HCG series or similar) within a short period of time, this one barely cuts it. Longevity of the PSU will certainly be affected, due to high constant loads and increased temperature within the PSU.

Whatever you do, do not overclock. Anything.

Alright, but I can still use the Graphics card right? If the longevity of my PSU will be affected, how much? Could I make it by buying the graphics card and having it in there until I can afford myself a better PSU which will take a few months?

I believe so, yes. It is hard to give precise predictions, since countless things have impact here. You might be lucky and even drive it for a few years, but it might also fail within a week. Still, if you don't overclock anything, you should be fine. Just don't wait too long with the new PSU.
