Well, it appears that which ever way I go, the common answer was to ditch the case I picked with the integrated psu. Can't always penny pinch, I suppose. Now i just need to basically decide between the pentium and fx6300. I'm guessing the 6300 would be superior if I was multitasking. That's beneficial due to the fact that it will also double as the "Family PC", since my laptop crapped out. Out of curiosity (and my ignorance), what would be the main selling point for picking the Pentium and the GTX 750ti over the fx6300 and the r7 265?
BTW, I had a previous hypothetical build that was running the FX6300 with the GTX 750ti...
Gaming wise, the 6300 and Pentium are going to be pretty close from what I've seen. It does have 6 cores as opposed to the Pentium's two, though, so it should be able to multitask better. I'd look into that if I were you, though
Basically the Pentium is cheaper, but only has two cores (albeit, I think two cores that are "better" than the 6300's). Also, you could upgrade to an i5 or i7 later down the road without having to buy a new motherboard. The 6300 has more "weaker" cores (but they are fine, don't think that it's bad or anything. I have it and have no issues) and is a little more expensive, and if you get the money to upgrade to an i5 or i7 later you'd need a new motherboard
I don't know too much about the two graphics cards, but I'm sure if you googled "750 ti vs r7 265" there would be comparison videos
If you're planning on multitasking, though, those 8gb of ram will come in handy (more tabs/programs open without it slowing down your computer)
