Hey all,

My PC was having some bugs, so I decided to do a clean install of Windows 7, using the disc that came with my Alienware Aurora. I boot my PC from the CD and the Windows 7 Installer begins to launch. When I press "Install on this computer," an error message appears shortly after and says "A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing" or something along those lines; and the only options at the bottom are Browse and Rescan. Therefore, my computer is pretty much useless at this point. How do I get past this step so I can format my drives and reinstall Windows 7?

I've tried setting BIOS boot mode to Legacy instead of UEFI, but that made no difference.

I'm desperate at this point, so any help would be appreciated. :)
