I am buying a MSI GTX 650 ti. My computer is an HP Compaq 6300 Microtech pro. It has a psu of 320 W. Will it be enough?

Solution

The GTX 650 Ti require a quality 430W PSU with 20Amps or more on its single +12V rail.
The GTX 650 Ti Boost require a quality 450W PSU with 24Amps or more on its single +12V rail.

So the 320W is not enough.

Cheers!

GeForce GTX 750ti - 20A and a 400W PSU minimum
GeForce GTX 750 - 20A and a 400W PSU minimum
GeForce GT 740 - 20A and a 400W PSU minimum
GeForce GT 730 - 20A and a 300W PSU minimum

So getting any of the GTX 750 on a 320W PSU is more of a gamble rather than a clean solution. The only card that works is GT 730 for that PSU.

Them minimums are wayyy over the top. Usually accounting for bad quality PSUs.

750 ti works fine on high quality 300w psus.

I also disagree with the guy saying HP PSUs are bad quality? I have used thousands of HP PSUs in the enterprise, and they are good quality and hardly ever fail.
