Hello! I'm upgrading my computer setup (for gaming), and wondered if my new video card and processor would be bottlenecked by my monitor.

The new video card and processor I'm getting are:
Evga Geforce GTX 970 (video card)
Intel Core i5-4690k (processor)

My monitor is the Dell UltraSharp 1908WFP 1440x900. I'm worried it'll be a problem because of the lack of 1080p.

Solution
If you won't change the monitor to at least a full HD 1080p monitor, The components you chose, especially the 970, will be bored.

For this resolution a 960 would be sufficient.

But still a 970 will get you a very good frame rate. If you have the money, get the 970 and a new monitor. If not, I would get a new monitor and a 960.

That's really helpful, thank you! Can you recommend a good budget monitor?
