New Build....Coming along!..Need a little advice

Hey All
So o the new build is about done!
It consists of the following ....

Cool master storm trooper full case
Asus Maximus hero vii mobo
Intel i7,4790K
Corsair ax pro 650w psu
Gskill Trident X 2166 ram,16 gigs
Crucial mx100,256 ssd
WD,2 Tb hdd
Thermaltake untouchable cpu cooler
Evga GTX 780 OC gpu
Running it through my 1080 panisonic 50" tv,via hdmi
My Question is this
The oldest part of my system is my gpu
And im trying to make this set up future proof for at least a couple years..lol

So,I've been considering upgrading the gpu
Looking at...
GTX 970 ssc 2.0+
GTX 980 SC
I have my first system still which can use a graphics card...so it will be a hand me down so to speak

Eventually I'd like to run 2 gpus
What to do?????

depending on your timetable for adding your second GPU, I would say you're quite able to just use your single 780 for now, which is comparable in power to a GTX 970, and then when you have the funds to buy 2 high-end GPUs, buy both of them at once.

I may just wait then
I am in need of a lower end card though anyway for my other system
It's a Dell T1500
I7,870,2.8/3.2
8 gigs ram,1333
Tb hdd
Set up in a nice full tower
I wanna sell it to help fund more upgrades on the current system
So...I will need a capable gpu for it
Able to play mortal combat x,and such
Gtx 750?????

Power supply
I'm looking to upgrade this also
Need to be able to run 2 gtx cards
Will a 750 gold do it?
Or 850 gold?
I'm looking at the Evga super nova line
