right now it randomly freezes usually when i play a game of league of legends with max settings. Most of the time it freezes a few minutes AFTER the game. nothing is overheating I am waiting the gpu and cpu temps and they are 65c for gpu and 56c for cpu on average.

It is a full freeze, mouse stops working, ctrl+alt+delete doesnt work, pressing cap lock doesnt turn on the light. It requires me to hold the power button and they when it comes on it doesnt display, and when i try to turn it back on 5 minutes later it starts working again.

All drivers are up to date. Currently running prime95 atm to test the cpu, and there was something called mem86+ do i also need to do that test?

So i have no idea what is making it freeze if anyone has any suggestions ill do anything D:
is there not enough power? or are some of the part not compatible? is it the gpu/ram/cpu/motherboard or is it a combination? And how do i make it freeze again?

Solution
ok. so we know temps ARE an issue. and it looks like the temp problem starts with the gpu (though it may or may not be causing the freezing, we do know when your gpu hits 75C you're having issues)

i'm looking at your system and my first impression is the case is your first issue you need to address. that case has poor airflow. so i'm going to suggest a case "upgrade" and we'll see how that works. we're going to have to narrow down what's going on part by part. But before you upgrade the case i want you to look REALLY closely at the gpu, and visually confirm the fans are spinning.

with the system powered off i want you to flick each fan on the gpu with your finger, make sure the fans spin freely and smoothly. watch closely...
i'd be willing to bet you issue is power/temp related. meaning your VRMs are likely overheating. It's not a hard fix with that motherboard and at worse will cost you $20 or so.

so lets find out whats happening ok?

Pop the side of the case off and stick a room fan in the opening. a box fan will do if you don't have something smaller. turn it on full blast then game for a bit. if the issue goes away we KNOW its something overheating. if it continues to happen then it's something other then heat. And we'll have to look at a bunch of stuff. so lets start with heat. it's the most likely suspect when you match that motherboard with that cpu.

I ran valley to test the gpu and it was working fine for a hour without any issues, and if its overheating doesnt it just completely crash? my computer isnt crashing at all just completely freezing up also i was watching my gpu and cpu temps they were at around 65c for gpu and 56c for cpu which is average, and i ran the prime95 for 2 hrs without any freezes, im gunna run memtest86 now be back soon

i ran valley again and it froze again after my gpu hit 75c with the fan blowing max and my cpu was still at 56c. I am finishing the memtest86 atm, 0 errors so far. I did what he suggested and opened the computer and put a big fan to blow on it. is there a less noisy way to keep my computer cool?

Did memtest86 passed with no errors, prime95 was on for hours and didnt freeze. I open the case and it doesnt seem to freeze even though the gpu is at 75c using valley benchmark. Do I need water cooling fans or something so i can close the case without my gpu overheating?

with the big fan on and the case open it says at a nice 65c understress test, without the fan it goes to 75c and the benchmarks become terrible. at 65c the benchmark are double. how can i better improve my case's cooling? should i buy a case with bigger fans?

start with that case. take the fans out of your current case, and we'll make use of them in the new case.

i'd also like you to look into getting some of these.

to put on the VRMs on your motherboard. assuming your gpu fans work, the new case will take care of the heat issues with the gpu. and those MOSFET heatsinks will take care of the exposed VRMs on your motherboard, which would take care of the other part that troubles me about your setup. you can obviously wait on the MOSFET heatsinks until you get the case and know if that will solve your problem or not. the one 80mm fan that is in your current case could be used to blow air onto the vrms in the new case. which might eliminate the need to get those heatsinks.

i compared to the cases and my case is SOOO SMALL. that case as so much room for my powercord cables(which is a huge problem) and my gpu is facing the bottom of my case and not getting any good airflow. not to mention the psu on the top that my case is supposed to be bad and bottom psu is better for cooling. TYSM ima buy it right now and get it tomorrow :D even if it doesnt fix it, it will be less annoying to do maintaince in the future with such a big case.
