I need help building a $600 mid to high end gaming pc. It needs to run games at 1080p at around 60 fps +. I am a weekend gamer BTW. OS, optical drive, HDD, and soundcard don't need to be included.

Note: I'd be thankful if a WiFi adapter, keyboard, and monitor were added in the mix as well.

Solution
here is a complete build barely under 600$ if gaming it is better to go with a i3 than fx8320 that is only better for a cheap render machine atleast for me the i3 even gets better frames on most games than the fx cu aswell , anyway this build should handle 1080p med-high at decent frames depending on what game is played for future upgrade the cpu first to a i5 for better performance

What kind of games will you be playing? If you are playing counter strike, minecraft, older games, $600 will get you a great PC. But if you want to play BF4, Witcher 3, etc, $600 isn't going to get you the highest settings at 1080p60.

This is probably the best you'd get for your price. I know it's a bit over but this will give you the performance you want at a very decent price

Thanks for all the answers! However, I'm not sure if I should use Intel CPUs or amd CPUs . I am considering getting g3258 unlocked and upgrading to i5 or i7 later,

dont get that i rather get a i3 than that cpu in gaming it has quite some stuttering well documented to atleast with the i3 you should be able to play some higher end games if you crave to and go with intel really is a better choice for just gaming

+1
Dont make the stupid mistake a lot of people make, which I also made as the fool I am:
Never listen to those who say that AMD is for budget and Intel is expensive. That is just plain wrong and subjective, and who ever started it should drop dead and get aids from a monkey in Mars.

If you would really insist on getting a build for old games and then upgrading in the future (Which I don't recommend at all), this build will more than suffice but do consider my other build because they have much better performance at the same price (about)
