This build is a gift to my brother on his birthday. He likes to play racing games like Grid 2, F1 2013 & often fps like CS GO. Thanks in advance

The thing is my bro is novice when it comes to overclocking stuff & i doubt he will be able to utilize G3258 to its potential so is it viable to consider a non K Pentium like G3240 ?

Well, the advantage of the a10-7850k is the quad core design, the advantage of the Pentium is the socket it sits in, if, at a later time he decides to get into PC gaming even more he can REALLY upgrade to a very powerful CPU, and A10-7850k is the most powerful APU right now, and I doubt that will change very much

I loathe to ever recommend a dual core anything, but for future upgradability, uh.... G3258

And get the 3258, cause it CAN be overclocked and its still damn cheap
