I just upgraded to a Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 4gb from a nvidia geforce GTX 750ti

I have never overclocked before and i was wondering what is a safe clock speed to set it too all i want to be able to do is run GTA V on very high with 60fps and no drops, i get around 40-60fps but its constantly jumping

As long as your temperatures are in a safe range, around 90c is the recommended operating temperature for most cards, any overclock is a safe overclock. Just set your power limit on max and see how far you can push the core clock. Once you have determined your max stable core clock, continue to find your max memory clock.

I just tried overclocking on GTA V and i overclocked (it was on 1304MHz, i changed to 1500MHz) whilst the game was running and i started seeing artifacts, have i damaged my card?
