So my graphics card is a Nvidia 9400 GT so it only supports directx 10 then i look for my directx version and i found out that my direct x was 11 but im sure that it was directx 10 before (because when i saw a youtuber playing tropico 5 and i found it an interesting game so i tried to download it and i found out that it needs dx11 and i have dx10) i think a certain windows update updated my dx 10 to 11 so can u guys tell me how can i downgrade my dx11 to dx10 because almost every game that i play has low fps except flash games or any browser game

Solution
You can't downgrade DirectX. Nor can you easily uninstall it to install an older version (not without some registry hacking).

You need a graphics card which supports the DirectX version you now have, that 's by far the easiest solution.

Unless you fancy re-installing Windows and turning off Windows automatic updates as soon as Windows is up and running?
