So I have a budget of about $800. I Want to build a pc for gaming and media ie- youtube and Netflix etc.
I would like to play on ultra/High settings always with high framerate and no bottle necking.
I also plan on OCing my CPU.

This is the link: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/w8kjQ7

Can you tell me how my set up is and if I should change anything?
Much appreciated.

That R9 270x is for like $159, might as well bump it up to the R9 280 for $161 (if you willing to do Mail in rebates)

And for memory i normally like to buy them in kits, not single sticks cause they are normally cheaper (save like $4 bucks)

For the PSU, you might not wanna use the Corsair CX line, they use cheaper capacitors and are generally not recommended for OCing

maybe this one from XFX

Looks like you have a pretty good set up there, with an $800 budget amd is the way to go but if you were looking for ultra/high on modern games a 280x or 290x might be better and maybe a 650w psu if you were planning on overclocking, but overall looks like a solid build.
