Thanks timo27

All good choices, especially the motherboard, although I'd prefer a 'race car' PSU for your high-performance system rather than the 'truck' one you have suggested.

There are some tuning changes I would make, but I need to know what market you are in because prices may be different there.

If you plan to overclcock, you need an aftermarket CPU cooler.

Thanks for replying DonkeyOatie,

I am in euro and want to get all of my parts off dabs.ie as the shipping is cheep as its in Ireland.

What would a 'race car' PSU be? :??:

This one http://www.dabs.ie/products/antec-620w-psu---neoeco-620c-atx-v2-3-80--bronze-12cm-dbb-fan-9PLC.html?refs=55430000-50882&src=3 Cheaper, more powerful, and better performance parts.

The analogy is that a truck and a race car could have engines with the same power, but a swap would not be successful.

This http://www.dabs.ie/products/coolermaster-hyper-212-evo---4-heatpipe--tower-cpu-cooler-8K32.html?refs=4294946930-50915&src=3 is a good cooler.

This is the cheapest motherboard I'd want to use in your build. Here's out advice on this. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2384024/motherboard-tier-list-970-chipset.html

Ok, thanks I've changes the PSU and by build is at 1080euro, I would like to get it down to 1000euro. Any tips?

Do i need a cpu cooler? can i not use the one in the box if im not going to be overclocking>>?

Only if you overclock. If not, then stock is fine.

Cutting won't be easy.
this memory will save a bit http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2384024/motherboard-tier-list-970-chipset.html better and cheaper.
this PSU will doo too http://www.dabs.ie/products/antec-450w-psu---neoeco-450c---atx-v2-3-80--bronze-12cm-dbb-fan-9NZX.html?refs=55420000&src=3

I'd recommend the EVGA GPU, but then you would lose the special deal. The two cheapest cards would work, but I'd check the reviews.

Not much else to cut.

Thanks! I think I will keep the video card the same.

Will the PSU be ok on 450w? or should I keep it at the 650 to be safe?

While you are here... Can I install windows 8.1 from a usb stick? If so how? I would know how to set the system to run from the usb stick but how would i get the operating system on the usb...?

You are seriously overpaying for that system.

Yeah but shipping to ireland would be really expensive.... Any help!!!!????

USB stick. http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2637355/make-bootable-usb-drive-windows-linux.html

Your system will not use much over 120W because you do not plan to overclock and the GPU is 120W + another 30 or so. for power spikes. a good 450 works fine. I would run a i5/970 off that psu.
