Here is my parts list:

CPU: AMD FX8-8320 Black Edition Vishera 8 Core AM3+ 3.5GHz
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 DDR3 ATX
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 960 2GB PCI-Express 3.0 Gaming
Ram: Kingston 8GB (2 x 4GB) HyperX Fury Red Series 1600MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM
Hard Drive: WD 1TB Blue SATA 6GB/s 7200RPM 64MB 3.5" Hard Drive
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 - 64bit - 1pk - OEM - DVD
Power Supply: Corsair 600W Builder Series CX Series CX 80+ Bronze ATX Power Supply

Are these parts all compatible with eachother?

If there was one part that could be scaled down to a cheaper part, which one? (Im over buget at the moment :/ )

This is going to ba a gaming PC

Pretty good AMD build there minus the PSU (no CX, CS or Builder from Corsair). Don't forget an aftermarket CPU cooler if you plan to overclock (the Hyper 212 EVO is a good choice). ...which that CPU will need. With that said, and at that budget level, you are better off with the build below (which requires no overclocking).

GPU - The R9 280 offers very similar performance at a lesser price. Either this or the GTX 960 will be perfectly fine.
