Hello!

Recently my computer had some random freezing issues. First it started with games (but not with every of them). It loaded the menu but when starting the game itself at the very moment when loading finished, my computer froze. No blue screen or restart or anything. It froze and I had to restart it to function again. But it was very random. Sometimes it happened, other times it worked normally. I tried updating drivers, even tried re-installing my OS but it still didn't fix it. And a couple of days ago it started freezing when I left the computer alone. For example, when I left it there for 30 minutes, I came back and it didn't respond to anything but restart (like with the games). And it happened sometimes while gaming too (not at a special event, just at a completely random time). So I started looking after a solution or answer to this and I saw somewhere that updating the BIOS may fix the problem so I did so. But during the update my computer crashed (not froze) and since that I can't get it working (I turn it on, fans spinning but [I guess] all hardwares are idle [nothing on the monitor]). I've tried removing the CMOS battery, tried it with the jumpers but none of these worked out for me (I followed detailed instructions so I assume that I did it correctly but I don't consider myself a computer expert so it's easily possible that I did something wrong).

I would really like to recover my PC and I'm eager to try any kind of solution. I'm not a 'noob' user but not an expert either.

Also, if somebody has an idea what might cause the freezing then please post any ideas, but that's just secondary.

Here are my specs: (components are 3~4 years old)
ASRock 760GM-GS3
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T -with Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 Pro
2x Kingmax DDR3 2GB 1333MHz
Gigabyte GTX 560
Seagate 500GB HDD
And a very old optical drive and an old 250GB HDD (I don't know their model numbers but can look up if needed)
Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit

Thank you very much for any help and answers!
