So ive been trying to stream League of Legends on twitch these past few days and having some issues, when im playing my games they are running perfectly (180-240) max settings but as soon as i start streaming im down to 60-100 and the game is jittering to an annoying extent.

CPU: Intel 4790k
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 2133 Mhz
Graphics Card: MSI GTX 970
PSU: EVGA Supernova 850W Bronze
Operating System: Windows 8.1 Pro
Internet Connection: 20mb Down 10mb Up
Streaming at 720p 30fps 2k bitrate (can just about handle that) (should be able to do 1080 60fps and still be stable)

Ive tried streaming CSGO and i get the same issue BUT ive also streamed 3DMark Firestrike Benchmarking and ive gotten a score of 9.5k compared to 10k when nothing else is running which leads me to believe that something is going on when streaming games thats slowing everything down

Any help would be great!

I would set vsync on to cap your fps at 60. do you have a 144Hz monitor or something that makes you want to run such high frame rates. you may be running out of GPU memory.

you can always use somehthing like hwinfo64 to monitor the usage of everything on your system

@fkr it cant be GPU memory surely? i managed to stream a stress test benchmarking software whilst streaming and it ran fine but am unable to stream a game that will put my system under much less pressure

@veepeein Ive tried OBS and Xsplit both have the same issue

Turn off friggen windows Areo or what ever the windows graphics accelerator thing is called.

If that doesn't fix it try and narrow down what's causing the problem.

I agree with capping the FPS I would also lower your settings in game just to rule out your gpu.

Then I would monitor your CPU maybe give LOL or CSGO a higher priority in you task manager (taskmanger -> details -> (right click on) csgo.exe -> set priority -> high )

wont be GPU as im getting around 180 minimum fps on very high settings on LoL and around 300 in CS also windows areo is disabled in xsplit (dont think its in obs)
