So guys ,
I decided to make a new gaming build today
It is for the sole purpose of gaming only
So the configuration is :
1. Motherboard -I will decide depending on Intel or amd
2. Ram- corsair vengeance 8gb
3. Processor-i5 4400 or fx 6300 or fx 8320
4. PSU -corsair VS550
5.graphic card- Asus 960 2 GB or HIS r9 280x 3 GB
6. Harddisk-1 TB Seagate
7.cabinet- some cooler master cabinet

So the main question is whether to go for i5 which is RS 4000 more than the fx 6300 in India
I want this rig to last me 3-4 years and I want to play games at high setting
So which is more future-proof and is i5 worth those extra pennies if I only do gaming
And does fx 6300 heat up a lot during gaming as I can't spend on a cooler?
If I choose fx 6300 ,I can use the extra bucks to buy r9 280x also but is it worth it or should I stick with Asus 960?

Unless you're playing CPU intensive games, either one will be sufficient, and the gap between both will lessen considerably with DX12.

As for the graphics, 280X is better than the 960 and has more memory. It consumes more power but it's also cheaper probably, look around for 7970s too.
