I need a fresh install disk for windows 7 Home premium or professional. I have working codes(product Keys) for both. I just need to find somewhere to obtain the actual code for windows 7 operating system. I will NOT torrent the files. A brick and mortar store would be much preferred and I've already done extensive research into OEM copies , at 99 dollars they are really not what I need. Again I have a product key, so all I need is the ISO for 7 and Microsoft has removed it from their store. I do not want windows 8.

Please help me find a location that sells a fresh install for a newly home built PC.
All and any answers are much appreciated! :D

Been directed to this link dozens of times from various people. It must have worked at some point, but for me it refuses to load at first then gives a 502 web error.

"There is a problem with the page you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. When the Web server (while acting as a gateway or proxy) contacted the upstream content server, it received an invalid response from the content server." -Microsoft webpage

Does this work for you or is this an old link you are giving me?

Thanks for your response in any event.

Yes, Michigan, using Comcast wireless through a Chromebook if that makes any difference. I tried loading on a dell computer too. Same result, slow loading then error message.
Where are you? Is it taking you to your download history or the original link on the Microsoft store? You tried it in the last day or so?
If so this is really really strange! Thank you for your response... I'm intrigued. Would be great if this was still an option to me.

Wait, if you never tested the link what do you mean when you said "just tried it myself"?

Please try the link if you can ( I promise its not a virus) lol. :D

I went to a private seller who gave me a full copy of windows 7 Home premium with unused licences for $35 flat! Great guy, but not particularly helpful for anyone else looking for a new operating system. Absolutely no problems and went to Microsoft to get it checked for legitimacy. No issues! A handmade disk with a custom design is what he sold me. pretty cool actually. Awesome purchase! I've now got it upgraded from windows 7 to 10 for free AFTER cloning the windows 7 drive to a blank one. I have both installed and am dual booting between 7 and 10 in case an update breaks windows 10 in some way.

I am loving life! So glad I got into building PCs!
