As the title mentions i cant make my mind up.

I have the cash for titan x sli and there is a healthy discount available atm making them 1800nzd down from 2k.

I have no idea what the 980ti will perform at but i am wanting to skip a generation or 2 of gfx cards and still be happy with my choice 2 years from now.

Currently have xb280hk monitor coming so i want to game at 4k with no worries at all.

5930k, 32gigs of ram and 1000w psu etc so the other specs should be fine.

please help me decide the deal only lasts the weekend.

Wait for 980ti and go sli, 6gb on each card with upcoming dx 12 that will share the ram that's 12gb worth and you will have more performance than a single titan x lasting you a year or two easily.
Also worth waiting for AMD's 390x, See what it's like. No one knows much about it, May be a Titan X killer for a much cheaper price, Either way if you wait it out a few more weeks for new cards to release and see what happens with all the pricing on current cards, You may save a few dollars.

Personally I don't think I would go balls deep in titan x sli because you might loss your balls. The 300 series is going to be released next month and if the past repeats its self the 390x will beat the titan x for much less money, like the 290x did with the original titan, from what I can tell is the titan x is fully unlocked so I can't see the 980ti being much more powerful then the titan x but who knows. The 200 savings is nice but if you can wait till after the new cards are released you might be able to save more.
