How to find my intel HD graphics model

Hi)I have a intel core i3 4030u 4th generation processor and according to the intel official website and many other websites it has a integrated 4400 hd intel graphics but i cannot find the graphics model no on my laptop.Any idea where to find it?It just says intel HD graphics family

Gpu-z is a free program that lists the specs of your gpu.

You can also use speccy, another free program from piriform.com

Intel's website model of their iGPU is also accurate because the iGPU is part of the CPU, and they don't change the iGPU on their CPUs (the GPU vary between CPU's, but within the kind of CPU, their iGPU are the same).

Go to Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Adjust Screen Resolution, then Click "Advanced Settings. This will display which Intel HD Graphics you have.

If you use windows OS, try windows (you can see that in bottom at your keyboard, with symbols windows) +r. After some application pop up, type dxdiag. That command will give you your computer information.

Total available graphics memory is 1792 mb means it,s a card of 2gb ?And roughly it has any equivalent amd radeon or nividia graphics card performance wise?

Evaluating a GPU is just about VRAM no more.

Asking for an equivalent is hard to answer. On the one hand, it clocks like a gt230 or a 230x for example, but on the other hand it uses system ram, not dedicated vram, so it can use whatever isn't being used at the time, so 3Gb ram or better isn't unheard of, depending on your settings. However, if you are short on ram, it'll use the page file cache from the hdd which really is slow, so while it clocks as a gt230, it'll perform like a gt210.

Igpu's are pretty much good for only a couple of things, like solitaire or YouTube, unless you have a top end cpu/APU, in which case you can possibly get decent fps on mine craft.

The one exception that I have found, is I use LucidLogic with my igpu in a psudo sli/physX role and it is quite helpful with pixelation at higher settings. It's just enough of a boost in performance cleaning out rough edges etc, that I find it to be a good use of an otherwise redundant part of the pc.

I have enough RAM of 6 GB so i guess it will at least perform like gt230.

6 GBs of RAM [and up] will be a boost for any GPU,but still,when we talk about an integrated one,its nature will show its behavior [underachieving a dedicated one].
